Jack Moore moves on – Class act ends on 92

Following the signings of earlier this week long-term keeper Jack Moore sadly moves on.

During his 2.5 years with us he has won it all – as part of a team and individually.

Pretty much an ever-present since arriving, he helped us win two promotions in successive years – the KCFL Division Two West title and the SCEFL First Division last season. Numerous cup wins have also followed with the defence of the West Kent Challenge Shield and the Kent Junior Cup during a 21-month unbeaten spell.

Individually he has won just as much with a call-up to the Kent County Rep side, two player of the year awards and a manager’s player of the year award.

He leaves as our record appearance holder with 92 league and cup appearances, including more penalty saves than we can remember.

And all whilst hating playing in goal, preferring to play centre half.

Thank you for all you have done Jack, from myself personally and I am sure all your teammates and management past and present.

All the best for the future. We’ll watch your progress eagerly. Stay in touch. Good luck.
