One In, One Out – Coaching changeover

With a long summer and pre-season ahead, one change has been made to the management group ahead of 2021/22.

Our thanks must go to Peter Gill who steps down from any regular hands on work, although will still potentially have some involvement behind the scenes in the coming seasons with our ongoing progression plans.

His initial impact at the start of pre-season 2020/21 was significant on the coaching field as well as bringing in exciting young prospects he had worked with at former clubs Leyton Orient and Barnet, but with the stop start nature of 2020/21, and an exciting new opportunity for him in his professional employment with Cambridge United, there simply isn’t enough time for him to fully commit to the new season ahead. We thank him for his efforts, advice, and wish him well with what will no doubt continue to be a very promising professional career.

Step forward Ben Kotey. We welcome Ben, a UEFA A licensed coach, who is known to us from his previous stints at a host of SCEFL clubs including Bridon Ropes, Phoenix Sports Reserves, Holmesdale, Greenwich Borough and most recently Erith Town. Welcome Ben, both myself and Grads, as well as the playing squad, look forward to working with you in what promises to be a long overdue exciting season ahead.
